Conference Poster Design

The Problem:

This project was about creating a promotional poster to advertise the Align Mastermind conference. The Align Mastermind conference is a three-day-long coaching and learning experience centered around reflection, implementation, and strategizing next business moves and goals with like-minded female entrepreneurs.

The Solution:

I began working through this project by creating a design brief where I did some initial research on the event speakers, the information that would be needed for the promotional poster like sponsors registration information, etc., the theme that I was wanting to portray, and finally the audience that I was trying to reach. I determined the theme to be centered around professionalism and the word align which can be directly seen in my typographic choices. I also still wanted the design to be feminine because it is a women’s conference without pushing that concept down the viewer's throat. I then did some visual research before creating a few iteration playing with typographic placement, scale, and texture in an interesting way which brought me to my final design.
